One of Canada's 7 Wonders...

Without a very large readership, I wonder what effect this post will have but given the shere beauty of "The Sleeping Giant" here in Thunder Bay, Ontario, I feel obliged.

I first heard about the Canada's 7 wonders contest on the front page of the local paper here The Chronicle Journal. I immediately visited the website and voted for my hometown giant.
While there are many other wonder's to choose from, many of which I have visited, the Sleeping Giant was my first choice. Sure I may be slightly biased, however, I live 10 minutes from the Bay of Fundy for 8 months of the year, and it certainly didn't get my vote.
I encourage everybody who reads this blog, to visit the CBC website and cast their vote for the Sleeping Giant. Whether you have had the opportunity to see it or not, it truly is a natural wonder and will make a great symbol to this country should it be chosen.
(For those seeking more advice, I also recommend Drumheller, Alberta and the Rockies. I also recommend voting AGAINST the Bay of Fundy)

Have you gone for a hike along the ocean floor, then have to hike up and camp to avoid drowning?
Have you spent the day watching the tides come in?

Living 20min away from a phenomenon and experiencing it is completely different.

A funny shaped rock is no different than looking at a potato chip and seeing Jesus.

Thanks but no thanks, I'm not bying it.
